The second half of 2023 was very busy for WoodCo with lots of new projects started and here is all our exciting news!

WoodCo News: Biomass Boilers in Education

St Anne’s School in Fettercairn, Dublin who have decarbonised their heating by switching to a biomass boiler.

WoodCo installed a full pre-packaged plant room (Eco-Cabin) containing a biomass boiler, buffer tank, expansion vessel, pumps and plate heat exchanger which connected into their existing heating system. The school was founded in 1979. St. Anne’s has seen many changes throughout their 40+ years but still maintains close ties with families and continues to serve the children of Fettercairn and beyond. No doubt there will be many changes ahead for the school in today’s changing world and having decarbonised their heating, they have committed to a sustainable future.

WoodCo News: New Staff on Board

Kevin O’Shaughnessy joins us as a Building Services Engineer, Kevin is originally from Askeaton in Limerick and heads up the Support Scheme for Renewable Heat application process here at Woodco!

WoodCo Sponsored GAA Gear at the GAA World Games 2023!

Woodco sponsored GAA gear for Eire-Og San Francisco football team. The world games were held in Derry in July 2023 and hosted over 100 teams from around the globe.

SEAI Awards 2023!

WoodCo were finalists at the prestigious SEAI Energy Awards, in the category of ‘Innovative Deployment of Renewable Energy for its ESCO’s., where WoodCo install a biomass boiler free of charge and the business only pays for the heat it uses.

Championships in September. We had a great three days onsite!
