There are various grants available to businesses and farms in Ireland who are switching to low-cost renewable heating.
These grants include:
- Support Scheme for Renewable Heat (SSRH) (For businesses & farms)
- Energy Efficiency Grant via Local Enterprise Offices (For businesses only)
- TAMS 3 (For farms only)
- Business Energy Upgrades (For businesses only)
The SSRH is by far the best renewable heating grant available. Since multiple grants cannot be combined to fund a single renewable energy project, the SSRH stands out as the most advantageous renewable heating grant.
Woodco offers our customers complete support with grant administration.
Support Scheme for Renewable Heat (SSRH)
The Support Scheme for Renewable Heat (SSRH) is administered by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) under the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment.
It is designed for commercial, industrial, agricultural, district‑heating and other non‑domestic heat users. SSRH is an operational support tariff for biomass heating systems for 15 years. The tariff covers biomass boilers systems when converting from fossil fuel systems.
Woodco provides complete grant administration support, guiding clients from the initial consultation through to securing the SSRH grant, and continuing with full maintenance and assistance throughout the scheme’s 15-year duration.
A hotel in Ireland is earning over €44,000 per annum on the Support Scheme for Renewable Heat
